I use this as a center activity. The children are
provided with strips of paper. (These are the ends that are donated from a
printer). I have a parent punch out apples with a punch you can get at a craft
store. The children use these to make their number book. I have a sample so the
children know how to print the number words and how many of the item are
represented by that number. This activity could be modified to show
addition or subtraction stories.
